Orion Nebula (Reprocessed)

A second take on the Orion Nebula — same data or a different session, reprocessed with improved gradient removal. M42 is notoriously tricky to process cleanly because the bright Trapezium core can blow out while the faint outer nebulosity disappears into gradients and light pollution. Getting the background flat and the transitions smooth is half the battle with this target.
